Neilson Hays Library Annual General Meeting 2017

Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, 9 March 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Library. We encourage all our members to come along this year as we embark on the building restoration. This exciting project will begin in March and the AGM is your opportunity to find out more.
We need our members to return outstanding books to the library by 7 March. The restoration work means that the library service will be suspended from 8 to 17 March, but lending from the Mini Library will resume on 18 March.
During the suspension of library service there will be no lending as the books will be safely packed, moved and stored. We are urgently looking for volunteers to help with the packing operations, especially our teen members. Please e-mail Khun Mae at firstname.lastname@example.org or come in to the library and make yourself known to the staff.
Members will be delighted to hear that the board has made arrangements for the most popular books to be moved to a Mini Library in the Neilson Hays Cafe from 18 March onwards. Our valued staff members, Khun Mae, Khun Chompoo and Khun Meow will run the library as normal and the regular hours will continue to apply. All the newest books will be available for lending and we will continue to purchase books to keep the collection current and attractive.
You will not be disadvantaged by the temporary closure of the main library. Your membership will be automatically extended for the restoration period of the main building. Once the main library reopens, your membership will continue as normal.
Do come and visit the Mini Library in the cafe and attend Saturday Children’s Story Time, which will be held at the British Club, next door.
